This command enables users to split structural columns in Revit at the elevations of selected levels. It provides options for filtering columns by type and applying offsets to the split locations.

Split Structural Columns by Levels

The command splits selected structural columns into separate segments at specified levels. It is particularly useful in projects where segmented columns are required for design detailing or construction sequencing.

Filter by Column Type

Users can apply a filter to select specific structural column types by family name. This ensures that only targeted columns, such as certain steel profiles, are modified, while other column types remain unaffected.

Offset Application

An optional offset value can be applied to adjust the split location above or below the selected level elevation. This feature supports design and construction scenarios where the split must not occur exactly at the level line.
