Manually appending elevation values to plan names in Revit can be repetitive, especially in multi-level projects. Including elevation data directly in plan names improves organization and helps users quickly understand vertical relationships between views.

With BIMLOGIQ Copilot’s AI, this task is fully automated. In this example, the user entered the following prompt:

Prompt 1:
For each 2D plan in this project, identify the view's level and append its elevation in millimeters to the plan name in parentheses. If the elevation is below level 0, indicate it with a minus sign inside the parentheses.

The AI processes all 2D plans, retrieves their associated elevation values, and updates each name accordingly. Elevations are shown in parentheses, using positive or negative values depending on their height relative to level 0. This automation improves naming clarity and saves time on large projects.
